By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids.

The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, part of Optimist International, is a 100% volunteer Community Service organization. The Club conducts positive service projects in local communities aimed at providing a helping hand to youth including special programs and scholarships. We also organize and run the Vienna Farmers Market, Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser, and provide tours to our local Caboose. With their upbeat attitude, Optimist Club members help empower young people to be the best that they can be. Every year, Optimists around the world conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people.

- Optimist Club of Greater Vienna - 70th year anniversary!

The Optimist Club is celebrating 70 years of service to the greater Vienna area. The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna was established June 21, 1955. We are a civic group dedicated to helping the youth of our community through programs and scholarships! Please celebrate this momentous occasion with us! Join us at the Farmers Market, learn more about our club, and consider becoming a member to help us continue for another 70 years! Thank you, Vienna and Oakton!

- Liberty Amendments Month - Vienna!

The Town of Vienna is celebrating its fifth annual Liberty Amendments Month (LAM)! It starts on June 14 and runs through July 14, 2025. Each week will focus on one of the Constitutional amendments that extends rights and liberties to U.S. citizens who originally were excluded from the Constitution.

- Farmers Market Open (May - October)

Your favorite time of year is here! The Farmers Market is open every Saturday from May 3rd until October 25th, 8AM - 12PM! Come and check out our vendors both old and new (See more about our vendors here)! We also have a full line up of musicians (See here for more information). And don't forget about Pooch Parking!
