By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids.

The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, part of Optimist International, is a 100% volunteer Community Service organization. The Club conducts positive service projects in local communities aimed at providing a helping hand to youth including special programs and scholarships. We also organize and run the Vienna Farmers Market, Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser, and provide tours to our local Caboose. With their upbeat attitude, Optimist Club members help empower young people to be the best that they can be. Every year, Optimists around the world conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people.

- Farmers Market - Thank You Everyone!

Our 2025 Farmers Market season has come to an end on October 25th! Thank you to the Vienna and Oakton communities for your support! And Thank You to our wonderful vendors and volunteers! You all truly make this event special for the community! See you all next year starting in May!

- Farmer's Market Thank You Social - November 2nd

Please join us for our Optimist Club of Greater Vienna November Social and celebration of another awesome year of our Farmer's Market. We will hold it at Tango Pastry on November 2nd, 3:30 - 5:30 PM. Come one and come all! If you're a new member or a prospective member, come and meet the club members and enjoy pastries and coffee! To let our hosts know how many people will attend and to keep our costs down, PLEASE RSVP NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 30TH using this link. - Optimist Annual Christmas Tree Sale - Opens November 28th

The Farmers Market has closed, the leaves are falling and it's getting cold. You know what that means! It's almost time for the Annual Christmas Tree Sale. This year is even more special than before. We will celebrate our 70th anniversary as a club serving the Vienna and Oakton communities! Come out at 3PM on November 29th to see our new refurbished trailer painted by volunteers and the Vienna Art Society. Then stay for the opening of the tree lot at 4PM. - Optimist Annual Holiday Party - December 9th

It's that time of year again for our annual holiday party! This year's party is at the Westwood Country Club on December 9th at 7 PM! Members attend for free.
