By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids.
The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, part of Optimist International, is a 100% volunteer Community Service organization. The Club conducts positive service projects in local communities aimed at providing a helping hand to youth including special programs and scholarships. We also organize and run the Vienna Farmers Market, Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser, and provide tours to our local Caboose. With their upbeat attitude, Optimist Club members help empower young people to be the best that they can be. Every year, Optimists around the world conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people.

- Christmas Tree Sale IS OPEN!!!!
It's that time of year again! That's right, the annual Optimist Club of Greater Vienna Christmas Tree and More Sale! This is our biggest fundraiser that we use to fund our youth programs. We will be open starting November 30th until we are sold out! For more information, please click here. Time to sell the trees!

​​- Carol Waite Brennan Award Winners - November 20th
Congratulations to this year's Carol Waite Brennan Award winners! Each senior high school student received a $2,500 scholarship to be applied to their future college. This year's winners are Annabelle Hallworth and Grace O'Connor from Madison High School, Sherry Zhang and Jack Hodge from Marshall High School, and Rumaisha Abudureheman and Viraj Kamath from Oakton High School.​​​​​​

The Vienna Business Association (VBA) presents this year's Vienna Holiday Guide! Curious where to shop, eat and play this holiday season in Vienna while supporting our local businesses? Go no further than the Vienna Holiday Guide. The guide provides special holiday promotions, events, and fundraisers between now and January 1st. This includes our Christmas Tree Sale, Thanksgiving eat-in/dine-out meals, Small Business Saturday (November 29th) speicals, and promotions for the Church Street Stroll (December 2nd)!​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Last chance in 2024 to see the Caboose before we close for the winter! Come and enjoy our last tour during the annual Church Street Stroll on December 2nd, 6-9PM. During our November opening, we had a wonderful time, this time with wedding photos too!
