The Optimist Clubs is a 100% volunteer Community Service organization. The Club conducts positive service projects in local communities aimed at providing a helping hand to youth. With their upbeat attitude, Optimist Club members help empower young people to be the best that they can be. Every year, Optimists around the world conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people.

FARMER's MARKET WEATHER

- Please stay tuned for weather-related closings for the Farmer's Market. As of now, we plan to be open on August 10th, but we are watching Tropical Storm Debby just in case. If we do decide to close due to high winds, we will post here, Instagram, and Facebook. Thank you!

- Composting at the Vienna Farmers Market

The Town of Vienna/Conservation and Sustainability Commission (CSC) is proud to announce the start of a composting initiative at the Vienna Farmers Market for the 2024 season. Beginning Saturday, May 18 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., a booth operated by Veteran Compost will accept food waste to be dropped off for composting.

Composting is a natural process by which organic waste is broken down into rich nutrient soil. If you are interested in composting, consider dropping off your food scraps at the Vienna Farmers Market each Saturday through October, and you will be reducing landfill waste while also reducing harmful greenhouse gases from being emitted into the atmosphere.

- The Vienna Farmer's Market opens on Saturday!!! It's open every Saturday, May 4th through October 26th, 8AM - 12PM. Please click here for more information such as who are vendors are, what musicians will be playing, and pooch parking!!!

- The Vienna Caboose (Church Str along the Washington and Old Dominion Trail) opened for the first time in 2024 on March 16th! We had over 400 people visit. Come and enjoy a tour!
