The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna is a volunteer community service organization who donate their time, energy, and funds to serve the youth of the greater Vienna community including students at James Madison High School, George Marshall High School, Oakton High School and their feeder schools as well as local Scout Troops. This website provides an overview of our many activities. The CALENDAR above shows our schedule for the 2011-2012 Optimist Year.

Christmas Trees - Sold Out!
Thank you for helping the kids in our community. On Sunday December 18, 2011, the Christmas Tree Lot closed when all the Christmas trees were sold.

Youth volunteers from local schools and sports teams helped on the Christmas Tree Lot. These included member of the Madison High School baseball team, Oakton High School football team, Vienna United soccer, and Octagon Clubs from Madison, Marshall, Oakton High Schools and Louise Archer Elementary School.
The blizzard of December 2010 did not prevent us from selling all of our trees!!
Visitors and New Members
To learn about the Optimist Club of Greater Vienna and programs to support the youth in the Greater Vienna community, please consider attending a meeting as our guest. Our meetings are held at 7 PM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the each month. The Optimists Club of Greater Vienna welcomes visitors and potenital new members. The location is the Marco Polo Restaurant in Vienna.
