Vienna Optimist Club’s Christmas tree stand opens the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the parking lot of the MapleAvenueShopping Center (where the Giant Food Store is located).” Hours are from 2 to 9 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. All proceeds from the Christmas tree sales are donated to charitable and community service projects in the greater Vienna area.

Youth volunteers from local schools and sports teams including the Madison Baseball Team, Vienna Mustangs, Vienna Shamrocks and Octagon clubs support the Christmas Tree Fundraiser event.

The blizzard of 19 December 2009 did not prevent us from selling all of our trees!!
